Investment Management Overview

The Investment Management Group employs a disciplined approach through a research-driven culture. Selection and monitoring of money managers is done through an extensive due diligence process to ensure specific criteria are met. We provide exposure to both traditional and alternative investments to pursue a high level of portfolio diversification and to help manage volatility.

Each client portfolio is carefully constructed to attempt to meet a desired return and/or income objective based on a personalized needs analysis. Given the dynamic nature of today’s financial markets, tactical adjustments may periodically be made to portfolios in order to take advantage of opportunities and effectively manage risk.

Investment management services are offered through a fee-based platform* designed to accommodate any type of account. For taxable accounts, investments are analyzed and selected to optimize tax efficiency. In addition, gains and losses in such accounts are monitored to manage overall tax liability.

Insurance Group

The Insurance Group offers insightful knowledge and guidance regarding corporate and individual insurance strategies through a myriad of wealth transfer concepts. These concepts are applicable to high-net-worth individuals and their families, as well as for charitable techniques.

We will also review insurance strategies for businesses that want to motivate and retain key employees, execute business continuity agreements and transfer business ownership from one generation to the next. Our Insurance Group, in concert with our Financial & Estate Planning Group, details the appropriate review and use of risk management and insurance strategies. Whether there is a need for income replacement or estate protection, our Insurance Group will canvass the marketplace to obtain the most practical and cost-efficient strategies to transfer risk where appropriate.
